HOLLYWOOD, FLA – March 23, 2020 – The Whisler Law Firm is proud to announce that Chief Operating Officer, Luis Ramos and Litigation Paralegal, Maria P. Rodriguez have become Certified in Water Damage Restoration by the IICRC, the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification.
IICRC, the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoring Certification, is a non-profit organization that develops and publishes standards detailing the proper procedures for safe cleaning and restoration. Headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, IICRC standards are followed in 30 countries, through over 4,600 certified firms and over 43,000 certified technicians.
Ramos is the Chief Operating Officer at The Whisler Law Firm and is also a Venezuelan attorney non-authorized to practice in the State of Florida. He graduated from one of the most prestigious universities in Latin America, Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas, Venezuela, where he also obtained a master’s degree in Administrative Law. Ramos graduated from the University of Miami as a Paralegal and has more than fifteen years of experience managing litigation departments. As a native Spanish speaker, Mr. Ramos is The Whisler Law Firm’s liaison officer for all LATAM clients. He is also a certified Realtor, Water Damage Restoration Technician, and Notary Public.
Rodriguez, a Litigation Paralegal at the received her B.A., summa cum laude, from Fordham University and is obtaining her paralegal certificate at Florida Atlantic University in hopes of becoming a Nationally Certified Paralegal. Ms. Rodriguez is from Cali, Colombia and is a native Spanish speaker. Aside from her role as a paralegal, she works closely with the firm’s Client Relations Manager to provide updates to all of our Spanish-speaking clients.
